Blue Screen

Chrissi posted on Thursday, July 03, 2008 5:32 AM

Hi,
I got a new pc yesterday, plugged it all in and after downloading the driver
for modem worked fine. Untill it started shutting down and a blue screen
appeared. I ran the solution checker and it said it was a problem with the
driver to the modem. How do I solve it?/
thanks

Modem>Internal or External? If internal, and a new machine, you shouldn't
have had to download any drivers. If external, you might want to supply the
make/model and operating system you're trying to use it on. There are too
many unknowns for us to be able to provide solutions.

Hi Chrissie,Remove that driver and get a different one, preferably directly

Hi Chrissie,

Remove that driver and get a different one, preferably directly from the
modem manufacturer and not Windows Update.
