IE 8 history doesn't get deleted properly - Ji

I've noticed browse history isn't being deleted properly.  I'm using IE8 Beta
2.  I've tried two approaches.

1. Go to tools, internet options; click the delete button in browsing history.

I've checked every box except preserve favorite website data.

2. Click on Safety, delete browsing history and check all of the boxes
except preserve favorite website data.

If I click the down arrow on the address bar I can still see my history.
There is an entry under autocomplete suggestion and history has several sites
that I visited yesterday as well.  Is this a bug or is there another way to
totally clear the history?
