Please excuse if I seem rude or ignorant - I hope to lessen the ignorance,
and frequently fail at attempts to reduce my rudeness.

I am a sporadic user, just barely computer literate. I am extremely unhappy
with my 'new' mymsn homepage. I used to have 4 columns, with infinite
control of each column width, plus a more friendly format of 'link windows'
to comics. Plus no unsolicited ads.

Please tell me if there is a way to restore my old ie/msn portal (right
word?). Failing that, how about some direction to alternate providers?

Billy: Thanks for reminding me. This was done in the hope - apparently
misplaced - that someone might want to advise me in a way *they* preferred to
be not so public. Believe it or not, I have found I am capable of dealing
with unwanted intrusions, be they verbal, electronic, or physical.
