Since it is on Win Server2003, you may have experiencing the same problem I
had. The reason could be because of the default software restriction policy
in Win2003. You can try this:
1. Make sure you are a local admin to this computer;
2. Go to Start->Run->gpedit.msc to start Group Policy Editor
3. Navigate to "Computer Configuration->Windows Settings->Security
Settings->SoftwareRestriction Policies.
4. If no policy is defined, right-click it to create one;
5. On right window, right-click "Enforcement", select "Properties";
6. Select "All users exceot local administrators" radio button.
7. Apply the change and clock Group Policy Editor;
8. Reboot the computer, and try in apply VS2005 SP1 again. |
