WLOC Question

WSR posted on Thursday, October 29, 2009 2:03 PM

XP SP3 (Fully Patched)

When I right click my Local Area Connections and choose "Change Windows
Firewall Settings" I get a shaded Windows Firewall that shows that the
Windows Firewall is "Off"

Now when I go to the application WLOC and choose "Change Settings" it shows
that the Firewall Protection is "On"

Which notice should I believe?

The Windows Firewall is turned off by OneCare - it has its own

The Windows Firewall is turned off by OneCare - it has its own firewall
controlled from within OneCare.
